I studied nanostructure engineering and already worked on the thermal management of a nanosatellite for my diploma thesis. I got into vacuum technology at va-Q-tec and then helped develop the BluRoX technology at Liebherr-Hausgeräte, from the initial idea through prototypes and pilot lines to industrial series production. At TerraVac, I develop and define the manufacturing processes for our products, working closely with the industrial engineering team. What appeals to me is bringing together physical requirements, product design and efficient manufacturing, turning new ideas into robust, economical production processes. And doing it in a team where we laugh a lot, support each other and create solutions that didn't exist before. For me, that's what it's all about, pushing the limits of what is technically possible a little further every time.

I studied physics and found something here you don't come across often, a product that really needs the physical fundamentals and that you can still hold in your hands at the end. Our insulation goes into technical applications, but also into appliances you meet in everyday life. At TerraVac, I head the lab and coordinate the development, construction and operation of our test rigs, from signal acquisition and cloud storage to analysis on our in-house analytics platform. What I enjoy most, though, is discussing measurement results with colleagues and working out together what the data is telling us. That is what shapes the atmosphere here. We support each other, almost like a family, and that makes even the regular technological challenges enjoyable.

I'm from India, studied mechanical engineering and am also PMP certified and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Before TerraVac, I spent five years at Eaton in value engineering and project management, running international projects with teams in Europe and the US. At TerraVac, I manage projects from planning to implementation as Technical Project Manager and also support purchasing. I combine technical evaluation, data analysis and structured project management, always focused on what really benefits the customer in the end. What excites me most is the moment when a first prototype evolves step by step into a mature, simple and effective product. And the way we work together, with ownership, a focus on solutions and as equals.

I bring many years of experience as a production manager, first in vacuum forming of thermoplastics and later in manufacturing PVC windows and front doors. At TerraVac, I head production, and my team and I build our prototypes. I'm also responsible for occupational safety and fire protection as well as buildings and infrastructure. What appeals to me is the challenge of working on a new technology and contributing my own ideas. Knowing that we work on sustainable solutions gives the job extra meaning for me. And all of that in an open team with flat hierarchies, where people value each other.

I trained as a mechatronics technician and then studied mechatronics, so I know engineering from both the workshop and the drawing board. Before TerraVac, I worked mainly in mechanical engineering, and for the past two years I've been combining that experience with a technology that didn't exist before. At TerraVac, I design and plan production equipment and tooling for manufacturing our perlite vacuum insulation. What I particularly like is working independently on my projects and developing my own solutions. And doing it in a young, committed team that is building something no one has brought into series production before.

I studied mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace at TU Dresden and then spent six years at Liebherr-Hausgeräte developing perlite insulation. At TerraVac, I'm responsible for 3D CAD across our products as a product design engineer. My work ranges from design and technical drawings to mechanical and thermal FEM simulations and product renderings. The technology motivates me every day because I see it as an important building block for a more sustainable future. I also value working in our small team, with short decision paths and real freedom.

I studied at the Faculty of Physics, with a bachelor's in nanostructure engineering and a master's in quantum technology. After my master's thesis, I had to choose between a PhD and industry. The idea of following product development all the way from the start to series production appealed to me, so I sent TerraVac a speculative application. Today I develop measurement systems for product development and quality assurance. What helps me most is exactly what you learn in research, developing models, checking them against data, keeping an eye on both the details and the bigger picture, and staying persistent when things get tricky. What I particularly like is how easy it is to exchange ideas with colleagues and that decisions here are made on the merits. And you get to see everything, from business development to building our IT infrastructure.

I'm from the region, from Eußenheim near Karlstadt, and studied mechanical engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. I gained hands-on experience during my studies through internships and working student jobs, and in February 2026 I joined TerraVac as Process Development Engineer. I develop and optimise our manufacturing processes and take prototypes from idea to series maturity. That includes process planning, defining and optimising process parameters and supporting the industrialisation of new products, right through to new applications for very different industries. What I like most is the mix of development, hands-on work and production, with lots of freedom and responsibility from day one. And at the end, I see the result of my work as a finished product. You don't get that everywhere, especially not straight after graduating.
